Free Prom Dress 2010 Design NE100152 by Molly Wagner

simple yet unique prom dress ankle to floor length by Molly Wagner

My name is Molly Wagner and I designed this dress for the Free Prom 2010.  The design is original and I acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of this campaign. This dress is simple and sleek with a touch of uniqueness with the big silk bows at the bottom of the dress and in the back.  The bows at the bottom are randomly sewn on to give the bottom more movement and flow. This dress is not excessively sparkly or patterned to give it more of a red-carpet feel.  The entire dress with the bows are the same color, cobalt blue.  The dress is ankle to floor length and the criss-cross on the chest area ties around to become the bow in the back. The whole dress is made out of silk or silk-like material, but not metallic because I feel that shows the bulges everybody has. It is extremely hard to find a dress that is simple but still unique, which is what I feel like my personality is. I don't want to be the center of attention (in a good or bad way), I just don't want to blend in either.

My senior year has been pretty rough. I can't go to college even though I'm a valedictorian because 4 members of my family are already attending and its getting too expensive. Prom could be out for me too, if I can't get this dress. I have been interested in designing clothes for a very long time but PJ pants and shirts are the best I've been able to do.  It would really mean a lot if this dress was made for me because I can't afford to make it myself. Silky material is less forgiving than fleece pajamas. Thanks for having this opportunity available for girls and thanks for considering me.
