I have always been given the nickname of “princess” due to my love of randomly bursting into princess songs. I thought it would be fitting to have a poofy princess gown for my senior prom so I looked at various websites but I could never find the perfect one. Then I came across this contest and I thought it would be really fun design a dress myself. The dress is a bright cotton candy blue with black straps that wrap around the bust and black lace on the back. The top of the dress that is surrounded by the black is pleated. The mid section is fitted with a dropped waist.

My favorite part of the dress is the slanted tiered skirt. I think it adds a modern flair to more classic style of dress. All throughout the skirt are single sequins sew on to add a touch of sparkle.
