Hello, my name is Sarah Culler. I am a Junior at Wesclin Highschool in Trenton, Illinois. The following is my submission for the Prom Dress of Your Design Contest. This was my favorite dress out of all my designs because it was one that I would love to wear myself. I have always loved trains, so I had to incorporate one in this dress. Also, red is one of my favorite colors. Our prom theme this year is Paris! I believe I would wear this dress if I was going to Paris.

Now I will attempt to describe my creation: I had envisioned this dress made of silk gazar, or possibly plain silk. The white is a pure white, not an off white/cream. The straps are criss-crossed in the front and are the same white as the dress. In the intersection of the straps, there is an antique brooch/jewel. The red in the middle of the dress is a cherry red. There would be a zipper on the right side of the dress. On the back there is a pleat down the entire length of the dress. Along the pleat, swirls of red beads/sparkles go down the dress. It is all topped off with a long, attractive, train.
