The “Red Dress” design features a silk red cloth that is tied into a knot at the bodice and a red, shiny velvet material for the overall gown.  This dress yields a sophisticated, formal result which is fairly modest.  The inspiration for the design was a visit to the Niagara Falls;  the beauty of the waterfall inspired me to create a dress which imitated a waterfall.  In this design, the silk red cloth is what imitates the waterfall.
