NextEve Prom Dress Design NE12053 by Damaris Chua

Hello! My name is Damaris C. and I’d like to submit my dress design to Nexteve’s Prom Dress Design Contest 2012.
The dress is simple, yet sophisticated; it is floor-length with princess seams that open into slits around mid-thigh or around 4 – 5 inchesabove the knee. Two are in the front and two are in the back. The dress is one-shouldered with a bow at the top. The back has anormal one-shouldered style, but the front has a sweetheart neckline with three pieces of fabric(which are the made of the same material and color as the dress) that join together at the top of the shoulder, as shown in my drawing. The shoulder’s strap is around 1 and 1/2 inches wide, including the front part, where the three pieces of fabric are laid on top of each other and joined to the back part of the dress. The bow should cover the top part of the strap. The dress is fastened with an invisible zipper at the left side. The fabric for the dress canbe velvet satin or silk jersey. For the color, I picked a elegant, subtle shade of grey. The inspiration for this dress design came from a certain gown worn by the main character in the movie What A Girl Wants.

Tips: to support this design, Vote it; AND Share it. Both count!

This is a gown I can imagine Nicole Kidman wearing. Who is this designer? I give her 6/5 for her designs!
