NextEve Prom Dress Design NE12025 by Damaris Chua

The idea for this design started out when reading some style advice by Rachel Zoe at WhoWhatWear.com: http://www.whowhatwear.com/website/ask-a-stylist/rachel-zoe-ill-be I wanted to design a prom dress that would be memorable, and what more than a sparkly, sequined one? I picked the color red for my design because red is a color that stands out and is elegant and stunning.
The gown has a tube neckline with an asymmetrical fold along the front of the top, which travels down diagonally across the back to the right hip, then from the right hip, down to the gown’s skirt. The slit in the middle of the gown is a bit lower than mid-thigh, or around 4-5 inches above the knee. The gown’s skirt has a fishtail/mermaid silhouette, and is floor-length with a bit of a train at the back. Tiny sequins start at the top of the gown, and gradually lessen, starting below the hip line until mid-thigh. The decrease of sequins should be gradual and graceful. The gown is fitted from the top until a few inches above the slit.
