NextEve Prom Dress Design NE12012 by Samantha Stockman

The dress is corset style that laces up in the back and is made out of crimson red silk. The roses are white silk with gold trimming. The vine foliage is gold and wraps around the hip to the back of the dress. There are three layers of red silk and then a layer of shear semi-sparkling gold chiffon underneath.

My name is Samantha Stockman, and I am an aspiring designer. When I was younger, my aunt felt like I should be a fashion designer because I was always drawing Barbie dolls and similar things and concentrating mostly on their clothes. She died when I was 15 and I continued to draw, making myself get better. I started designing my own fashions and ever since it has been my dream to become a fashion designer. I developed a very unique sense of style. My friends were always saying that I had a style all my own. I like to design unique fashions and I started becoming enthralled by wedding designs. Designing prom and wedding dresses is what I feel that I want to design most. My inspiration for this design was the rose. I feel that every girl deserves to look like a princess for their prom and when I think of princesses, the majority of the time, I think of roses. The red rose is what inspired the color of the dress, and since the white rose symbolizes purity, I wanted to add a couple of white roses, because princesses are known for their pureness or pureness of heart. The golden vine is basically for the whole royal concept of golden leaves. This is one of my favorite designs, and I truly feel that any girl would feel like royalty in this dress.
